The trip was fun. We were able to go up on the rigging and out to the tip of the bow. We could even drive the boat for a little while. At nighttime, we could either sleep below the deck on the pads, or we could bring our own pads out onto the deck and sleep in the open. We helped to raise the sails, and lower them too. Finally, we all took turns trying to raise the anchor. We learned how to plot a course on a map, learned the anatomy of a squid, and even tried to find other boats in the misty sea air. - Justin C., Troop 754
